GriefShare: Support for those Grieving
Our current session of GriefShare began on January 8, 2020.
At St. Matthew, we recognize that grief upon the death of a loved one is a most painful and often lonely experience. Many people have found it helpful, when adjusting to such a deep loss, to talk about this with others who are experiencing grief as well. The current session will run on Wednesday evenings through April 1, 2020.
Each session is self-contained, so they do not need to be attended in order. It is not too late to join the current session.
Cost is free, but registration is requested by calling the St. Matthew church office (763-788-9427).
Meetings are held weekly on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30 pm in the lounge. Facilitators are Carol Lundholm and Julie Sventek. We look forward to supporting you in your journey from mourning to joy.
If you have someone that you would like to receive a personal letter of invitation to the GriefShare program or if you have concerns about your grief or the grief of someone close to you, please contact Pastor Hugo or Sarai Kretschman.
Each topic is self contained so you do not have to attend in sequence and includes a brief video seminar, followed by supportive group discussion. Please call or email Sarai if you have any questions.
