GriefShare: Support for those grieving

You may go to the GriefShare website for other wonderful resources and additional locations and  class times being offered in your area. www.griefshare.org

Our next 12-week session begins on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. We meet every Wednesday through November 20, 2019 at St. Matthew from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The class is open to anyone that has experienced the death of a loved one.

Each topic is self contained so you do not have to attend in sequence and includes a brief video seminar, followed by supportive group discussion. Please call or email Sarai if you have any questions.

Cost is free, but pre-registration is requested by contacting the church office at 763-788-9427 or emailing Sarai Kretschman, Pastoral Care Assistant, at sarai.kretschman@stmatthew-ch.org.

We look forward to offering our support in your journey of Grief.

Cancer Support Group: Support for those with a cancer diagnosis

There has been a request to re-start a cancer support group here at the
church. We will start meeting monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 1-2:30 pm in the Lounge.

Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Please contact Sarai Kretschman with any questions or to RSVP.

Heart and Soul: To support your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health

Feel free to contact your Parish Nurse Kathy Rosenberg  to set up a time to have your blood pressure checked, discuss any of your health concerns, arrange a home visit, or have personal prayer time together.

Golden Agers: Support for our St. Matthew seniors 55+

You are cordially invited to join us for our quarterly gatherings on the second Tuesday of the month at noon for a meal, devotion, special program, fellowship, and fun. Please contact Eva Pelton or Parish Nurse Kathy Rosenberg with any questions.

BeFrienders: Provide support to those in need of a listening, caring presence

THANK YOU to our dedicated BeFrienders for all the visits, care, and love you share with others through your active listening and non-judgmental, caring presence as you visit in God’s presence.
